Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s chair is shaking. As the government continues to fail, a campaign to oust Starmer is in full swing. Lord David Blunkett, who is also a former Labour Home Secretary, has warned that if everything is not straightened out in the next three months, Keir Starmer’s story will be over. He also stated that if this is not achieved, there will be serious consequences.

A senior member of the Labour Party pointed out that he should improve and appoint someone with political experience to take control. Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeney is believed to be behind the briefing that Wes Streeting is trying to take over the leadership position.

Creating such confusion just before the budget has posed a serious challenge to the government. Meanwhile, it is reported that four leaders are preparing to succeed Starmer. Streeting is at the forefront of this. Supporters of Angela Rayner, Shabana Mahmood and Ed Miliband are also making efforts to express their support. The challenge against Starmer increased when Reeves had to scrap the income tax increase at the last minute.
