Virgin Atlantic is launching a direct service from London Heathrow to Thailand’s largest island, Phuket. The service will start on October 18, 2026.
A Boeing 787-9 will operate the route three days a week. Bookings for the service opened on October 30. Phuket is a popular tourist destination in Thailand. SkyScanner says the journey from London
to Phuket take around 12 hours, with one stopover. TUI already operates direct flights to Phuket from Manchester and Gatwick between November and April. Virgin Atlantic’s package holiday prices start from £999.
